What these numbers mean and where they come from

School counts below are separate base-school observations from the October 2025 bulletin; they are not sport-program or co-op enrollments. Separately labelled co-op values are directly reported WIAA Enrollment observations, not sums of these school bases.

Eight sectional headings and the source's dated Opt out annotation remain visible in entry details. The printed annotation does not certify the rest of the field's eligibility.

The bulletin table is titled 2025-26 Member School Enrollment; its classification column is 2026-27. A census date is not stated.

The PDFs are titled2027 Boys Hockey Assignments and updated9/21/26, with February-March postseason dates. Site year2026 and Winter2026-27 are display conventions; no school-year or census heading is printed. Annual school bases use their separate2026-27 classification column and2025-26 counting title.

A school count appears only for one printed base-school observation matched by exact names or individually documented source-label variants. Associated-building counts and printed group totals remain separate.
